Can I add a link to my long-form YouTube video when publishing Shorts via Vizard?

YouTube’s API currently doesn’t allow third-party tools to attach a “related long video” link to Shorts. Here’s why that option isn’t available yet and how you can work around it.

Updated this week

At the moment, this option isn’t available through Vizard — and not because we don’t want to add it! YouTube’s current publishing API does not support linking a Short to its related long-form video.

The “related video” or “Remix attribution” you see on YouTube is added automatically when you upload directly on YouTube Studio. Unfortunately, that feature isn’t exposed to third-party apps (like Vizard) yet.

We’re keeping an eye on future API updates from YouTube. Once this option becomes available for external platforms, we’ll make sure to support it right away.

Tip: You can still include your long-form video link manually in your Short’s description or caption before publishing.
