1. What are Post Styles?
Think of a Post Style as your AI writer’s permanent instructions. Instead of telling the AI what you want every single time, you save a Default Prompt that covers your preferred tone, emoji usage, or content you want to include (like hashtags or specific Calls-to-Action).
Once you save a Default Prompt, the AI automatically uses it to generate posts when publishing posts.
2. When is default prompt used?
You don't have to start from scratch:
Instant posts: As soon as you start scheduling or publishing, you’ll see a post already written based on your Default Prompt.
If you haven’t set a Default Prompt yet, Vizard uses our "Best Practice" settings to get you started.
3. Setting your Default Prompt
You only need to set your style once to use it everywhere.
Note: Your default settings are shared across both single-post and bulk-scheduling workflows.
1. Scheduling/publishing a single post: Click 'Add default' to save your default prompt in 'Regeneragte description' section.
2. Bulk/Auto-Schedule: You can also update your Default Prompt directly within the schedule settings.
4. Regenerate your copy
Regenerate all: If you want to try a different "vibe" for that specific video, you can rewrite the prompt in 'Regenerate descriptions' box to re-generate all instantly.
Platform Tweaks: Need a different hook for TikTok than for LinkedIn? You can choose to regenerate the description for just one specific social account.
Best Practices for prompts
Add hashtags | Always include #leadership, followed by 5 trending hashtags related to the video topic. |
Create your own tone and style for descriptions to follow | Write in a witty, high-energy tone using Gen-Z slang. Keep sentences short. |
Control the structure structure | Always start with a question to the audience. Follow with a 2-sentence summary of the video. End descriptions with a CTA such as "Watch the video now." |

FAQs
Does default prompt setting affect posts I have already generated?
No. Changes only apply to new posts generated after you save the setting. Your existing scheduled posts will remain exactly as they are.
Can I still change the style for a single post?
Absolutely. The Default Prompt is just your starting point. You can manually edit any description or use the "Regenerate" tool to try a one-time instruction for a specific post.
