When do my subscription benefits start if I pay with ACH?
If you use ACH (bank account) to pay for your subscription, please note that ACH payments are not always completed immediately. Processing can take anywhere from a few minutes to several days, and during that time the payment may appear as Pending.
Your benefits start only after the payment succeeds
For subscriptions paid with ACH, benefits will be granted only after the payment has been successfully received.
This means:
If your payment is still Pending, your benefits will not start yet.
Your benefits will begin only when the Invoice status is
success.
How is the benefit period calculated?
Once the payment is successful:
Start date: the date the payment succeeds
End date: the end date of your Stripe subscription
Who does this apply to?
This applies only to users subscribing with ACH for the first time.
It does not affect ACH renewal payments.
Why does this happen?
ACH is a bank-based payment method, and it can take longer to process than card payments. To make sure subscription benefits match the actual payment status, benefits are granted only after the ACH payment is successfully completed.
