What is AI Edit?

Create Professional Videos with AI

AI Edit is an AI-powered video editing feature that automatically transforms your talking-head videos into more engaging, professionally edited content.

Instead of applying fixed, rule-based templates, AI Edit analyzes your video content and dynamically adds editing elements such as:

  • Dynamic transitions

  • B-roll

  • Zoom effects

  • Other professional editing effects

AI Edit works especially well for talking-head videos, such as knowledge sharing, opinions, tutorials, and personal-growth content.

How AI Edit Works

You can select a supported video and choose an editing style. AI Edit then analyzes the video's content, speech, and visual information to create an edited version.

For the best results, we recommend using videos with:

  • A clearly visible speaker

  • Good lighting

  • Clear and high-quality audio

  • Well-structured spoken content

Different styles are designed for different types of content, so you may want to try several styles to find the one that best fits your video.

AI-generated results can vary between generations. If you're not satisfied with the first result, you can submit the video again.

Select a Video from Your AI Clipping Projects

You can use clips from your existing AI Clipping projects.

On the AI Edit submission page, select Select from project and choose the clip you want to edit.

The selected clip must meet the following requirements:

  • Portrait 9:16 format

  • Between 15 seconds and 3 minutes long

  • Contains video footage

  • Includes a detected speaker

When you select a clip from an AI Clipping project, AI Edit uses the latest available clip data, including the A-roll Reframe result, original transcript, and custom scene information.

Note: Intro and Outro segments from AI Clipping are not carried over to AI Edit.

Video Requirements

Some videos may not be available for AI Edit if they don't meet the current requirements.

AI Edit currently works with portrait 9:16 talking-head videos. Videos may be unavailable if:

  • They are not in a supported format or aspect ratio

  • They are outside the supported duration range

  • They contain audio only

  • No speaker is detected

  • The related AI Clipping project has expired, been locked, or is currently exporting

AI Edit Processing Time

Processing time depends on the video length and current system load.

After submitting your video, the page will display the processing status. You don't need to keep the page open while the video is being processed.

Once processing is complete, you can view and download the edited video from the results page.

AI Edit Credits

AI Edit uses credits based on the length of the video:

0.5 credits per second

For example:

  • 30-second video → 15 credits

  • 1-minute video → 30 credits

The exact estimated credit consumption is displayed before you submit the video.

If generation fails, you will not be charged. Any deducted credits will be automatically returned to your account.

Current Limitations

AI Edit is currently in beta, so some features are not yet available:

  • Custom editing styles: You cannot create your own custom style yet.

  • Bulk processing: Videos must currently be submitted individually.

  • Automatic scheduling: AI Edit videos cannot currently be scheduled for social media automatically.

  • API: AI Edit does not currently provide an API.

We are continuing to improve AI Edit and plan to add more capabilities in future updates.

Video Quality and Editing Results

The quality of an AI Edit result depends on the original video and the selected style.

AI Edit generally produces better results when the video has a clear speaker, good lighting, clean audio, and well-structured content.

For serious technical issues, such as severely corrupted visuals, broken subtitles/transcript alignment, or broken fonts, please contact our support team so we can investigate the issue.
